We had a great experience working with Will and his team at Sequoia Outdoor. From design to demo to installation, every step was well communicated, coordinated, and executed. Our backyard has been transformed into a much more usable and beautiful space through Sequoia’s guidance on landscaping, pavers, and lighting.

For the longest time, we weren’t quite sure what to do with our overgrown back and front yards. We had a few ideas and concepts in mind, but struggled with how to bring everything together in a cohesive way. We tried a few things ourselves but the weeds started growing and the yards became unruly. Ultimately, we decided to go with Sequoia and are so glad we did!

From the very first meeting, the team listened closely to our ideas and offered thoughtful input on how to bring them to life. After meeting different members of the team, two things became immediately clear:

1. Their communication with us and among each other was seamless.

2. Their vision and understanding were spot-on.

They quickly grasped what we were going for and aligned with our vision in a way that made us feel heard and understood. They even found the perfect replacement pavers to closely resemble our existing ones!

The crew was nothing short of impressive! We had a huge list of work that included demo work, grading, drainage, irrigation, lighting, hardscapes, and planting. The pace and progress made each day absolutely blew us away. We would come home and just look around the house and say “wow they got all that done already?!”. It felt like they knew exactly what needed to be done and executed it flawlessly. The craftsmanship and efficiency were truly masterful. Truly felt like they had a plan and everyone was on the same page.

We’re incredibly happy and grateful to have broken ground with Sequoia. It genuinely feels like they took our vision and brought it to life. The finished yards exceeded our expectations — and our dogs love it too!

Imagine your large yard is in need of a major refresh. Everything looks tired: the irrigation is inefficient; the flowers and shrubs are struggling; the grass is dying; the twisted pathway is dangerous. You interview several landscape companies. One doesn’t align with your vision. One is snarky and unprofessional. Another is way too expensive for what they offer. You almost give up, that is, until you read a fabulous review of Sequoia Outdoor Design and Build and decide to invite them to see your garden.

And I am so glad I did. These guys are fabulous. They are fun. They are happy and love what they do. They are professional and caring. There is never a problem for they treat it as a challenge among themselves behind closed doors. They address the client’s best interests.They are proud of what they do. They are patient and ensure your pleasure at every moment of the project. They work hard and are dedicated. The designer tweaked the plan several times for me. The project manager came every morning, and the crew of 4 was here from 8 to 5:30 everyday for nearly 3 weeks and made a point to clean up before they left. They did all of this with a smile.

Sequoia Outdoor Design and Build did an amazing job for us, and I highly recommend them. After all, I now feel like Julie Andrews when I walk my beautiful garden and sing its praises – and those of the fine people at Sequoia Outdoor.

We couldn’t be happier with the incredible transformation of our outdoor area, thanks to this amazing team at Sequoia! They completely reimagined our backyard and side front yard, creating a stunning, functional, and inviting environment. (honestly such a night and day difference from before.

From the beautifully landscaped areas, bushes, and privacy hedges to the outdoor kitchen with a grill, griddle, and lights to the outdoor seating area AND area for our new raised garden beds. Our backyard is finally livable and something we look at with smiles on our faces.

Haley, our designer, was a creative genius who truly listened to our vision and brought it to life with her brilliant ideas. She was a great listener and took our wants into a vision. Alonzo, our project manager, was equally fantastic – keeping everything on track, ensuring everything was done efficiently, and going above and beyond to make the process seamless.

The team was fast, professional, and so friendly, answering all our questions and providing helpful suggestions along the way. We made a couple requests as the project went on and they were more than happy to accommodate. They even redid our sprinkler system to make sure everything stays green and beautiful for years to come.

In regards to pricing, they were really transparent, broke up all the pricing and options, and didn’t try to push unwanted/unrealistic additions to our project.
